Who we are and what we do...

We are a canoeing club located in La Riche close to Tours center. Beside our sporting activity (wildwater), you can rent all the equipment in our club to do canoeing on the Loire. We offer various courses between Amboise and Langeais, varying by their length. We are open during week-ends only. More news soon regarding the procedures linked to COVID-19.

We rent all the necessary equipment (canoe for 2 people, life jackets, paddles...).

We also transport you to the start or from the arrival to our club in La Riche (depending on the course chosen).

The Loire valley is recognized as a world heritage site by UNESCO since 2000, thus highlighting its cultural value. Our club is located beside the famous Prieuré de Saint Cosme, house of the poet Ronsard (XVI century).

The courses are described below.

It is necessary to be able to swim 25 m. For this reason, children below 7-8 years are not accepted. People should wear their life jacket during the whole session.

Take all you need to protect you againt sunand heat (water, hat, sunglasses...) but also againt rain and cold.

Please remind that your are in a natural and fragile environment. Respect it for those you will be there after you.

Our courses

We propose four different courses arriving or starting from our club located in La Riche, in the immediate proximity of Tours center. The courses vary between 9 to 28 kms and offer a variety of landscapes and conditions.
